Question 1

What activities are you engaged in for the victory of the national revolution?

Accepted Answer

My activities are based on a precise strategy and plan with five main pillars:

1. Maximum support for the struggles of the Iranian people
2. Maximum pressure on the Islamic Republic
3. Maximum defection from the body of the system
4. Organizing and mobilizing Iranians abroad to influence public opinion and politicians in their countries of residence
5. Presenting a political and economic vision for the transition period and reconstruction of Iran

Strategically, these activities are divided into two categories: activities focused on the current stage, which is the struggle until the overthrow of the Islamic Republic, mainly defined under the first four pillars. And activities focused on establishing a national government and transitioning to democracy after victory, which fall under the fifth pillar.

Question 2

Regarding the issue of maximum defection, there are doubts about its necessity and possibility. What is your response?

Accepted Answer

Regarding the necessity, I must say that my model of change relies on the power of the Iranian people and is based on a national revolution. In such a model, the immense power of the people to confront the regime's hundreds of thousands of armed forces will achieve victory when at least a part of the military, law enforcement, and security forces either joins the people or at least declares neutrality.

It is on this basis that, while emphasizing the right to justice for all victims of the regime, I have always tried to distinguish between justice and revenge. Discovering the truth about all the regime's crimes, and addressing the cases of human rights violators and perpetrators of crimes against humanity, must take place in a transparent process of transitional justice.

But regarding the possibility, we must pay attention to this important point that there is a difference between the occurrence of defection and it becoming public and explicit. In regimes like the Islamic Republic, public discontent and opposition from military and security forces can be life-threatening for them before the appointed time. Therefore, opponents and dissidents usually remain in the system until the last moment and strike it from within. Recent years' developments, and especially recent months', also confirm that defection is indeed happening. Of course, it has not yet reached its peak. To reach that peak, we need to increase the pressure on the regime and simultaneously open the exit path for those who intend to separate from the regime. Both of these are necessary and complementary.

Question 3

What is your position on the military conflict between the Islamic Republic and Israel?

Accepted Answer

First, this military confrontation is Khamenei's war, not a national patriotic battle to defend our homeland. The Islamic Republic regime has been preparing and planning for war with Israel for decades with the aim of destroying this country and has wasted billions of dollars of the Iranian nation's wealth in this way. The cost of this warmongering and all-out support for terrorist groups in the region has been the spread of poverty and misery in Iran. For years, I have warned Western countries that the solution to the problem of the Islamic Republic is not appeasement with the aim of changing the behavior or containing this rogue regime, but the solution that can truly remove war from the region once and for all is maximum pressure on the regime and maximum support for the Iranian people in their struggle for freedom and democracy. What we see today that has brought the region to the brink of a larger military conflict is the result of years of appeasement and giving concessions to the regime.

Over the past 45 years, I have always emphasized that the main force of change in Iran is the power and ability of the Iranian people. We have not counted on the intervention of any foreign force or country in the struggle to overthrow the Islamic Republic and are not waiting for anyone's green light. I have also always said that if foreign countries support the Iranian people and their struggle to overthrow this regime, they will reduce the cost of change.

With this approach, I have never sought regime change through foreign military attack or invasion.

Now that Khamenei has put Iran at risk of war, my constant message to the Iranian military forces to separate their path from the Islamic Republic has become more important and urgent. As long as the Islamic Republic rules Iran, not only will the threat of war not be lifted from Iran, but this threat will increase day by day. The Iranian military should not sacrifice themselves, their families, and Iran for the apocalyptic ideology of Khamenei and his regime.

Question 4

How do you envision a peaceful transition to democracy in Iran?

Accepted Answer

A peaceful transition to democracy in Iran must begin with the formation of a transitional government after the fall of the Islamic Republic. This government will have several key responsibilities:

1. Maintaining order and stability during the transition
2. Ensuring the continued functioning of essential services
3. Preparing for free and fair elections
4. Drafting a new constitution through an inclusive process
5. Reforming institutions to align with democratic principles

The transition will culminate in a constitutional referendum and then democratic elections. Throughout this process, it is essential to ensure broad participation from all sectors of Iranian society, including different ethnic, religious, and political groups.

I believe that a successful transition requires national reconciliation over revenge, while also ensuring accountability through a fair and transparent process of transitional justice.
