Ehsan Hosseinipour Hessarlou is a 19-year-old footballer and player for Jahan Gostar Club.
He was arrested by Islamic Republic security forces in Pakdasht on January 8, 2026.
He has been sentenced to death and is at grave risk of execution following an unfair trial in relation to Iran’s National Uprising in January 2026.
Reports have also raised concerns over the denial of access to a lawyer of his choosing, allegations of forced confessions, and the possibility of a death sentence being issued against him.
