Mahboubeh Shabani, a political prisoner in Mashhad, faces the threat of execution, and the office of Prince Reza Pahlavi has released her audio message from Mashhad prison and called for urgent international action to save the lives of political prisoners. The office of Prince Reza Pahlavi wrote:

After months of detention and the fabrication of a case against her, Mahboubeh Shabani has been targeted for execution on trumped-up charges; the planning of these state killings is aimed at spreading terror in society.

The Dey massacre continues with the issuing of death sentences for those detained in Iran's Lion and Sun National Revolution, and the criminals of the Islamic Republic have targeted the life of yet another young woman.
