Prince Reza Pahlavi thanked Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša for his principled stand at the United Nations and for giving voice to the Iranian people, and said he looks forward to the day a free Iran is a friend and ally of Slovenia. The message of Prince Reza Pahlavi:

Thank you for your principled stand at the United Nations and for giving voice to the people of Iran.

By speaking out against the Islamic Republic’s atrocities, including the massacre of tens of thousands of Iranians in January and the ongoing executions, you have shown moral clarity when too many others have remained silent.

Iranians will not forget those who stand with them in their struggle for freedom.

I look forward to the day a free Iran will be a friend and ally of Slovenia.
