Prince Reza Pahlavi: The world’s view of the Iranian people’s struggle has changed. In the past, the constant question from foreign officials was “What is the alternative?” or “What will happen after the Islamic Republic?”; but today, after numerous international conversations and meetings, the kind of questions has changed.

The main question now is: how can the Iranian people be supported?

“The Iranian people caused the regime’s criminal ringleaders to be targeted.”

In this interview, Prince Reza Pahlavi stresses that the clear distinction between the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic, and in particular the millions-strong uprising of the people on 8 and 9 January, meant that in the recent military conflict the regime’s apparatus of repression and its criminal ringleaders, including Khamenei and Larijani, were targeted and eliminated.

The Prince adds that this same distinction, and the Iranian people’s role in getting their true voice to the world, helped significantly reduce the civilian human cost of the conflict and prevented a repeat of something like Gaza or Lebanon.

He states that his goal is for Iran to reach freedom at the lowest possible cost and loss of life.
