Prince Reza Pahlavi's Video Message to Compatriots in Iran's Southern Provinces
Prince Reza Pahlavi's office published a summary of his recent video message to compatriots in the southern provinces:
In his recent video message to dear compatriots in the southern provinces, Prince Reza Pahlavi stressed that the Islamic Republic's war against the Iranian nation, especially the people of the south of the country, has continued for 47 years.
Creating insecurity and hostage-taking in Sistan and Baluchestan are dimensions of the Islamic Republic's war against Baluch compatriots.
Security affairs in Sistan and Baluchestan are in the hands of the IRGC's Quds Base — an institution responsible for repression, large-scale smuggling, including fuel smuggling, and the creation of insecurity.
We are witnessing that the national outlook of Baluch compatriots, and of Sunni figures and media, has provoked the Islamic Republic's anger, and that by creating insecurity and taking hostages this regime seeks revenge and aims to lay the ground for further repression. The recent attacks by the Supreme Leader's representative in this province on Sunni figures and media are also in line with the IRGC's project.
The Islamic Republic, whose record includes crimes such as the burning of Cinema Rex, the bombing at the shrine of the Eighth Imam of the Shia, and the firing of a missile at the Ukrainian airliner, is the main cause of insecurity in Sistan and Baluchestan.
