Prince Reza Pahlavi's Virtual Meeting with the Iran Heritage Unit
Prince Reza Pahlavi's office reported on his virtual meeting with members of the Iran Heritage Unit, including members inside Iran, on protecting Iran's national heritage during the emergency and transition period:
In a virtual meeting with members of the “Iran Heritage Unit,” including a number of the group's members inside the country, Prince Reza Pahlavi was briefed on their activities and programs to identify and protect Iran's cultural, historical, natural and intangible heritage, particularly during the period of emergency and transition.
Members of the Heritage Unit spoke of identifying thousands of national works under threat, drafting practical guidelines for their protection, and the “Every Iranian, a Patron of a National Heritage Site” campaign — an initiative to turn safeguarding Iran's heritage into a public responsibility and shared effort.
Stressing that “Iran is bigger than any party or ideology,” Prince Reza Pahlavi spoke about the importance of protecting the historical memory and shared identity of the Iranian nation.
