Dr. Asadollah Nasr Esfahani — condolence from Prince Reza Pahlavi's office

Prince Reza Pahlavi's Office Offers Condolences on the Passing of Dr. Asadollah Nasr Esfahani

Prince Reza Pahlavi's office issued a message of condolence on the passing of Dr. Asadollah Nasr Esfahani, a veteran Iranian jurist and statesman, to his family and admirers:

With sorrow, we learned of the passing of Dr. Asadollah Nasr Esfahani, a veteran Iranian jurist and statesman.

Dr. Nasr Esfahani was among Iran's worthy and capable public servants who, in his productive life and in various national responsibilities — from the governorships of Kerman and Fars to the Ministry of the Interior — regarded the performance of duty for the homeland as a national responsibility. Distance from Iran did not diminish his love for the homeland either, and throughout the years of exile he always carried in his heart concern for Iran and its future.

His years of service and devotion to Iran will remain in the memory of those who knew him and were familiar with his record.

We offer our condolences on his passing to his family, his survivors and his admirers, and wish them patience and peace.
