Prince Reza Pahlavi — planned visit to Australia and meeting with the Coalition shadow cabinet

Prince Reza Pahlavi's Planned Visit to Australia and Online Meeting with Ted O'Brien and the Coalition Shadow Cabinet

The Office of Prince Reza Pahlavi shared The Australian's report on Prince Reza Pahlavi's plans to visit Australia and his online meeting with Ted O'Brien and the Coalition shadow cabinet.

The Australian reports on Prince Reza Pahlavi’s plans to visit Australia and his forthcoming virtual meeting with Ted O’Brien and the Coalition’s shadow cabinet to discuss support for the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy.

His priorities are clear: stronger action against Islamic Republic-linked networks in Australia, the complete closure of Tehran’s embassy in Canberra, and a foreign policy that places the Iranian people’s plight and aspirations at its centre.

Prince Reza Pahlavi is also keen to meet Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Foreign Minister Penny Wong, seeking engagement across the political spectrum.

As he told The Australian, the discussions will focus on “what Australia can do to support the Iranian people in their struggle for freedom and democracy.”
