Prince Reza Pahlavi to Accept the Friedrich Naumann Foundation's 2026 Freedom Prize on Behalf of the Iranian People

The Office of Prince Reza Pahlavi announced that Germany's Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom is presenting its 2026 Freedom Prize to the Iranian people, and that Prince Reza Pahlavi will receive it on their behalf.

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom present its 2026 Freedom prize to the Iranian people, in recognition of the courage and determination of Iranians who continue to fight for freedom and democracy despite the Islamic Republic’s brutal repression.

On 7 November (16 Aban), Prince Reza Pahlavi will accept the award in trust on behalf of the Iranian people.

The ceremony will take place at the Paulskirche in Frankfurt, one of Germany’s most important historic symbols of democracy.
