Prince Reza Pahlavi to Address Belgium's Royal Military Academy
On November 6, Theo Francken, Belgium’s Minister of Defence and Foreign Trade, will host Prince Reza Pahlavi at the Royal Military Academy of Belgium.
The visit will begin with a meeting attended by Belgium’s Chief of Defence and several senior military commanders. Prince Reza Pahlavi will then address Belgian officers and generals on the Middle East, sharing his perspective on Iran’s future and the region’s complex geopolitical landscape.
In a message, Prince Reza Pahlavi thanked the minister for the invitation:
Thank you, Minister Theo Francken, for the invitation to speak at the Royal Military Academy. Given Belgium’s important role in Europe and NATO I look forward to our meeting to discuss the security threat from the Islamic Republic to Europe, Ukraine and the Middle East region.
From terrorism on European soil, including the recent RAF Fairford Incident, to cybersecurity threats, providing drones to Russia in Ukraine, long-range ballistic missiles, and the nuclear weapons program, the Islamic Republic remains a serious state security threat to Europe and beyond. I will address these critical security challenges in my speech at the Academy.
